Program Services - Pre-School

The Preschool Program starts at age three with children age four participating in Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K). We use the Creative Curriculum system which combines the latest research and the freshest ideas into a forward-thinking approach to learning--one that honors creativity and respects the role that teachers play in making learning exciting and relevant for every child in their classrooms.
Each classroom has a daily schedule that includes educational and social activities as well as playtime. The lesson plans used are individually tailored to meet the needs of each child. We use the ESI-P screening tool to help teachers and parents determine the strengths and weaknesses of each child.
As a delegate agency for Head Start, we offer the same Head Start services to all children regardless of their funding source.
We also are a provider for the Voluntary Pre-K Program which entitles all parents of four year old children a right to Pre Kindergarten education for their child. For more details go to www.vpk-florida.org .
